Terminal Intelligence is offered by David Fleming, an individual. No company has been incorporated to operate it. There is no separate business address to disclose. This page describes the terms of the current pilot; it is not a substitute for a lawyer-reviewed terms of service — see the note at the bottom.

What this is

Terminal Intelligence is pre-launch software, currently distributed to a small number of pilot users by direct arrangement rather than a public download. It is supported on macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later, using Terminal.app and zsh. It is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind, including without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

How it works

Terminal Intelligence explains terminal output and suggests commands. It rates suggested commands as safe, caution, or danger, and inserts a suggested command onto your prompt for you to review and run yourself — it does not execute commands on your behalf. You are responsible for reading and understanding any command before you run it. Risk classifications are a best-effort aid, not a guarantee that a "safe" command cannot have unintended effects on your specific system.

Pricing and payment

The stated pilot price is €9.99 per month. Paid checkout is not yet live on this site; pilot access is currently arranged directly by email. No refund policy has been published yet. When paid checkout launches, billing terms, cancellation, and any refund policy will be published here and in the checkout flow before you are charged.

No guarantees

We make no guarantee of uptime, of a specific data retention period on any third-party AI provider, or that any feature described on this site is complete or bug-free. Use of Terminal Intelligence to run commands on your machine is at your own risk — see Privacy for exactly what data is sent where.

These terms, the product, and its pricing may change during the pilot period. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
